Default Car wont start

Ok so I have been having problems with the starting electronics. I found the problem and fixed it but i neglected the amount of gas left in the car. I was too concerned with the other garbage i was dealing with. So long story short, i ran out of gas and now the car wont restart. I dont think it is the fuel pump since the gas sputtered a bit. I am thinking the fuel filter got clogged by some junk from the bottom of the tank. Does that sound right or am i way off?

I've run out of gas like 5 times, nothing ever happened to my stock pump or the couple times it happened on my current Racetronix pump. They don't just get fried if they run dry for a few seconds, thats a myth. Sucking something up, doubt that too.

All I ever had to do was pull out the gallon tank ((I carry with me all the time )) and put it in, crank it for about 15 seconds and it has always started up.

Put a gallon in there and crank that bitch for a couple minutes, with stops every 15 seconds or so.

Take a screwdriver and push the relief valve on the fuel rail, see if there's fuel in it. Cover it with a towel though, you don't want to get a face full of gas.

if there is not fuel in it then the pump is gone or could it be the relay or fuse?

Well, when you turn the key forward to "on" do you here the pump prime for a couple seconds. If you here nothing, then check the fuses under the hood.
