Default Lt1 and th400 can I use standard converter?

Hey guys did a quick search and really didnt find anything, im thinking about getting rid of the 4l60 and going with the th400, anyays I know you can use a standard converter with the ls1 with some kinda of spacer, but what about the lt1 flexplate? is a spacer needed? what is the bolt spacing on the lt1 plate thanks!

Yes you can. Not sure I understand your post, but you can use a gen 1 converter with an LT1 and th400.

Correct. It will be a direct bolt in. The LT1 has the TH350 Bolt Pattern. Most performance TH400 converters will have the dual bolt pattern, so you would use the inner one.
