Default Identify a 6.0 or 4.8/5.3?

I was wondering how to identify if motor a is a 6.0 or 4.8/5.3? I'm going to look at the used motor today, I know the size is cast in the block inside the bellhousing area, but it has a trans attached to it. Is there any other easy way?

My LQ4 has 6.0 on a tab on the outer edge of the head gaskets.
It's also cast into the ft of the block, behind the accessory brkt.
There should be a matching set of numbers stamped on the trans bellhsg lip, and on the rear of the block, [if they are originally a matched set.] That # can be deciphered as to what's inside...
The heads, [alum] should have 317 cast on them.
