Help For Slow Power Windows
My windows on both sides were slow, and I could hear the strain on the motors. Something had to be done short of changing the motors out.
I took off the door panels, then the plastic sheet, and sprayed the bejeesus out of the rollers, rails, and gears with white lithium grease. Tested them about ten times to get everything lubed that I could get to before I put it all back together.
They work beautifully.
The hardest part was getting the door locks back in place right.
Much cheaper than new motors. Hope this helps some folks.

Mr Smith, my fix is very different than the one you cite.
My suggestions have nothing to do with electricity and everything to do with cheap maintenance fixing something often overlooked.
Don't you agree?
