I didn't like what I read about most all the offerings from spool, Detroit, etc... on a street car so I chose the old style Trac-Loc clutch type posi. I guess in the past the failure mode was the weak clutch cover breaking at the bolt holes. They offer a billet cover which I had put on mine and so far I like this thing!

- When I first start out in the morning it makes a little noise on the first turn like a spool
- Around some corners it chirps ever so slightly like a spool
- On the highway and twisties I can't tell a difference in it and the stock 10 bolt unit

This unit should be okay for guys in the 500 RWHP range without issues. I'm going to put it through the tests (already have some!). To me it drives like a stock car except you know it is an extremely positive unit. With some of the stories I have read here about other units/setups it may be worth some of you taking a look at.
