Default 1/8 mile NHRA Rules

What mph and et require a roll bar using NHRA 1/8 mile requirements?
When a roll bar is required is a 5 point harness also required?

Darn. I am at 7.9 right now. I have heads and cam going in soon so that will put me faster thant 7.49 I bet. We have a new 1/8 opeing up. I was hoping that I would be able to run there but it looks like I will need one.
What about a harness is that required when you have a roll bar?

I guess the local 1/8 tracks here just don't enforce that. I've seen alot of 6 second passes without roll bars without anything happening.

Anybody know what the IHRA rule is for needing a roll bar?

You need a 5-point harness when running a roll bar or cage, and the harness must be replaced or re-certified every 2 years. The IHRA roll bar requirement starts under 11.50 quarter mile, but I do not know for sure what the 1/8-mile is.
