Default help with gear choice

im running a 347 trex car with a th400, nitrous converter, 28" drag radials, i cant decide between a 4.10 or a 4.56, the car will be mainly an 1/8th mile car running mostly on spray.

On the dope, I would say 4.10's. N/A I would go to the 4.56's. Good luck and keep us updated.

Agreed, the gearing choice changes when you think about adding Nitrous or not. Especially since this is 1/8th mile racing as opposed to 1/4 mile. I am thinking about doing a set similar to yours and with the same parameters but it would be 1/4 mi.

I think it was going to be 4.30's N/A and 4.10's on juice as the car is still heavy.

This a 100% track car?

im still thinking about 4.56's if they end up being too much ill just go with more tire. the car gets about 50-75 miles a week on the street sometimes more. im just thinking the 4.10's wont be enough for my converter
