Default Need Tire Help What Can I Use?

Ok I looked in the stickys but couldent find anything really, so I have the stock z06 rims and I know for the front the recommended is 265/40/17 but i was wondering if I could run 255 or even smaller on the stock rim. And how big can I go on the back, im pretty sure its 315 but not to sure haha. Thanks In Advance

How about 265/35/17 and 305/35/18....

DONE!

Depending on your driving style, but I would personally run the Toyo T1R up front and a Nitto 555R in the rear or a RA-1 toyo...

You have some choices...

tiredeals4less.com has great prices

I hope that helps

Why do you want to go smaller up front? Are you drag racing or you going to carve up the canyons?

I'm thinking about going with Toyo R888s all around, 275 in the front and 315 in the back.

On stock wheels, you can put 315/30x18 on the back no problem. On the front, you can go 255 if you want, but it may look funny.

Just looked up some tires on that site... Prices are really good. I was comparing them to discountwheelwarehouse.com's prices.

Thanks for the heads up on that site.

its my dd for right now but that will change soon but im stationed in cali so some roads can be curvy out here, but i was just seeing what you can run but for my back i like the toyo's but the ones i like are 35 not 30, so will that still be ok?

It's fine as long as you tell your computer that. When ever you change the size of your tire - no matter which measurement is different be it width or profile - you need to tell your computer that so it knows how fast you're actually going. The 30 and 35 on those isn't going to be the same as a thinner or wider tire with 30 or 35 profile. The profile is a ratio so it changes depending on the width of the tire.

So if you're not going with stock sizes in the back, use a hand held programmer or have someone hook up HP tuners and change your tire size in the ECU.
