Default Throttle follower tables?

What are the function of these tables. I've read that changing the fields can help with idle and surge, but unsure what changes to make. I've seen guys putting all fields from 12 mph down to 1, while some say change it to 2. What would the change be from taking the values up or down? Here is the figures from stock table.

400 rpms

0 mph 1.67
4 mph 1.02
8 mph 1.14
12 mph 1.01

1000 rpms
1.48
1
1.07
1.01

With your setup the follower tables shouldn't really be causing your problems.

Where are you getting the values? I can read Edit files 1999- 2002 .The only place I see "Throttle" values of RPM vs MPH is in the Throttle Cracker table. I can't find a stock Throttle Cracker table (file) that coincides with your listed values. Are you sure they are stock ???
