Need advice on an 01 LS6 engine Valley Cover
I am finding a fair amount of oil inside the TB on my 01 Z06. And I do know that the fix that GM recomends is to replace the valley cover/pcv assembly under the intake manifold because of a bad seal of some sort on the assembly where the pcv connects to it.
My question is can I do this job myself fairly easy. I know I can get the part for about 35 bucks and I dont have any good dealers nearby that I could trust my baby with.
I am pretty confident with my mechanical ability just looking for any help I can get.
There is a wealth of knowledge on this board, I know someone can help.
Thanks in advance.

If you are at all mechanical you can do that job.
If you can get a service manual for that car would make it easier. Plan on it taking approx two hours. If that was my car and didnt trust my dealer id do it myself. To bad your not in Ca. id help you out.. p.s. nice car.
