would you do it? pick up low mileage 4l60e cheap as backup/to build? 100k on mine so right now my car has 100k miles on it. trans works perfectly, fluid still pink and not burnt. was serviced at 60k miles, no problems. it's my daily driver and i autox it. may road race it eventually. i'm not worried about it blowing anytime soon but with no torque management and higher mileage i'm thinking it'll be the first major thing to go.
anyway, i found a 4l60e with 5k miles on it very very reasonably priced. thinking about picking it up just to have so i don't have to shell out big $ when mine goes down the road. i'd also consider throwing in a 3200ish stall and mildly build it to make the automaticness a little less boring.
what do you think? worth it?
