The intake will fit your problem will be the throttle body or elbow that will touch the stock hood. The elbows that will fit under the stock hood will choke the life from your intake. Get a hood that will clear a nice tall elbow setup or a 4 barrel with a carb hat setup to see the benefit of the Victor Jr intake.

what elbow will make it fit with a stock z28 hood?
i have a stock ported tb right now.

You could run the arrons elbow or intakeelbows.com but i would not put the ultra low profile edelbrock on anything. Boosted application if i had my choice would be a wilson 90* elbow but then you would need a taller hood.
