'Vettes in Big cities with horrible streets..need Input
I am looking into a 03 z06 or a c6 coupe, but my concern is that my camaro without being lowered goes through hell trying to get through streets in nyc.
So I wanted to know the experience of vette owners in NYC or any city that has lot of pot holes and just simply terrible streets.
Is the rule of thumb to just drive slow enough so you can react to upcoming bumps?

The key I think is being familiar with the route you are taking. I am in the Chicago area, some of the worst roadways you will encounter. I drive a lowered C5 around, and while I scrape in some areas, you just have to slow down and let it drag if necessary. You can get frame savers for a C5 (and maybe a C6 also I'm not sure), little wheels that install along the frame rails. This may give you more peace of mind.
