Default Question on LS3/7 Air Filter Assemblies

Has anyone adapted an LS3 or LS7 air intake system to replace the air box on an LS1?

Could you put the older MAF from an LS1 inline with the LS7 intake filter assembly by using couplers?

These filter assemblies look pretty nice, and are less expensive than the aftermarket.

The LS1/RX7 guys have some setups that use the LS7 MAF in a custom tube that pulls from the LS7 factory filter.

FWIW, there are gains seen in the 20 RWHP range going from a 3.5" cold air with 90* bends, to a straight shot LS7 style setup.
