Default need help finding a replacement retainer for an M6

my stock retainer for the shifter broke so gm discontinued the part so does anyone have one laying around that i could buy, I have grey interior. This part attaches from the leather cover for the shifter and connects to the console. Any help is appreciated.

are you talking about the piece that holds the shift boot to the console? if so you have to buy the entire shift boot from GM, I bought one earlier this year, in february I think, if you want I could check on one for ya.

no just the plastic clip that holds it to the console. on your picture it clips the leather to the plastic cover

Oh ya that's right.. the newer cars are one piece. Try using some wire and making some sort of a retainer with it.

There is a guy on here that makes metal shift boot retainers. Search for it and you will find him. I have bought a 2 from him. I will refer him to anyone looking for one. Very reasonable price wise as well.

Did you a favor, first thing I ever bought of Tech. His screen name is Farmer2. Send him a PM with your needs and he will get you situated.
