Default Daily Driver

I drive my t/a everyday. Now my question my gf is wanting to get me aftermarket wheels for xmas/bday. I wont have them on during the winter months my stock wheels and tires will be on it. My question is could i run a radial or something even if it rains or is it just bad news and spend the 1500 somewhere else? thxs

I'm guessing you are talking about drag radials. I daily drove my 04 Cobra with BFG drag radials. They lasted a whopping 3K miles and toward the end of their life, it was literally like driving on ice when it was raining....seriously, I had minivan drivers giving me the finger because I was going so slow lol. Nittos are the way to go for a daily driven D/R hands down.

If you are talking about a regular summer street tire, they can all handle the wet weather as long as you aren't stupid about it.
