another hi compression and boosting question! My 383 ls1 is at about 12.56:1 compression. It has probe forged pistons, forged eagle rods &crank. And a ms4 cam. And I have a set of t62 garretts with the tial wgs and bov. That been sitting for over a year. Can I boost? I will be running a carb and not sure on the fuel but with boost maybe c or q 16. What psi would be realistic? Thanks for your time.

Wow, that's pretty high. We boosted this build that was meant to stay N/A http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=39 but the compression ratio isn't nearly as high as yours is. Your have a carb which will help to keep it cooler, and with C16 I'm sure you can run some boost, but to what extent I'm not sure. Bob
