Default Speed Inc Alternator wiring help

I got the speed inc alternator relocation deal and I'm not sure how to wire it. The factory wiring on my 98 is a single red wire and the pigtail on this new one has 3 wires. Just curious which one I hook to.

you need to hook your factory wire to the "field wire"on the alternator,it should be indicated as an "f" on the plug

what size case is the alternator needed? 5 1/8 or 5 5/8th?
