Default How can I tell the year of my lq9?

I have no vin number to go off of, and I need to buy a wiring harness and computer. I think its a 2004 but I need to know the exact year because they changed in 2005, or am I wrong? I have the number stamped into the driver side head: #0313415210522319 and #317 on the back of the head. Anybody give me a hand?

Last two digits in the casting # on the block (located on the top front) Mine ends in 03, thus it is a 2003. Looks like this, sometimes they are a bit hard to make out so you gotta take a wire brush to them

There should also be a 10 digit serial number front RHS of the block, but visible from below only if there is no low mount alternator. Sort of just under the deck by a few inches. First digit is year, next 3 are day of the year the block was finished. Last 6 are a sequential number.
