Default help with bad tire rub.

I dont know if this should be here or in Drag tech because it kinda goes hand and hand. Anyway what could be causing my pass side tire to move forward and hit the wheel well. This was done on a very small part throttle hit on the street after installing the new tires just to see if everything was good. The tires are 275/60/15 M/T's. I have had the same size tire on the car before and nothing like this ever ha pend. I did just put on BMR nonadjustable tubular LCA's to get rid of the stock ones.

If you look at the pics you can see the black rubber on the front of the wheel well.

Hello
This is just a suggestion for you! It sounds like your rear end shifted or is in a bind and it might have happened when you installed the lower control arms. To eliminate this problem would have been to install one side at a time! If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
Thanks
Brad

Thanks for the suggestion. I am going to pull the LCA off and check things out and make sure everything is good and tight. I did get the LCA's used so I will take a good look at the bushings.

The issue with the 275/60/15 tire is pretty common with them wanting to hit the front of the wheel wells. We sell an adjustable lower control arm part # MTCA002 that would take car of the problem. I would make sure the lower control arms are properly installed and are free moving. If you have any questions please feel free to ask....
