What are you running in the 1/4 or 1/8? Was it worth it? Would you have rather waited for a 5.7 or 6.0? Hows your gas mileage? Is your car reliable? Thanks

I never really got a chance to drive mine N/A besides for one time where the charge pipe blew off lol.
I have had several other combinations, including a Vortec 350 that put out about the same power if not a bit less then a 5.3 with a Zo6 cam, and it was fun.
To me its worth it to swap even a stock 5.3. The EFI is nice, and reliable, economy is pretty good. I observe 27+mpg on trips cruising at 80, and even beating on the car on 10lbs I will still average 12-15. Granted lately running E85 and beating the snot out of the car I am getting 10-12 average, running the 80lb injectors at 75%.
Compair the costs of building a budget 350 with vortec heads/comp XE268 cam, and doing a 5.3 swap with another ~200 in a Zo6 cam/springs/pushrods, the 5.3 costs a bit more now but is something different, doesnt leak as much oil if any, and is a nice thing to say you accomplished.
