bypassing clutch cycling switch?
does anyone know how to bypass the AC clutch cycling switch?? i need to bypass it momentarily so that it can take a can of R134. 2002 Trans Am; recently had a AC line removed, it is completely empty and i need to charge it. thanks guys.

I'm no expert, but if you had a line off, I think you need to have the system vac'd out before you put in fresh R134. Otherwise you're asking for failure down the road.
Again, no expert, but this is what I have been told.

you could actually jump the pressure switch at the canister, if you really wanted the clutch to run continuous. look for the black connect on the back of the cansiter, unplug it and jump the two two contacts in the plug with a paperclip. :-) works!
