400 trans rattle when turn car off

400 trans rattle when turn car off trans is new, have not drove the car yet but when the car is ideling it sounds fine but when you turn the car off it makes a lound rattle some where in the trans what the heck is that. i bought the flexplate from hughes and a adapter for the torque converter
