LS1 running slugish at low RPM in any gear
Guys;
My 99 SS is running sluggish at low RPMs in any gear (6 spd). Example: When running at 70 mph at 1500 rpm in 6th gear; if I try to accelerate its feels like it is missing or starving for fuel. I am throwing no codes and have replaced the fuel filter. Could it be plugs????? Help.....
Anyway, just seems to be getting worse slowly…..

First do you have a K&N air filter?
Second have you ever run a K&N?
If you answers yes to either of these, try unpluging you MAF and see if the problem is solved (do go to far with it unpluged just a quick hit).
If the problem is fixed with it unpluged, take the MAF out and get a Q-tip with some carb cleaner on it and very very lightly wipe the sensors in the MAF. Chances are they Q tip will be pure black after about 2 sec and you will need to do this a couple times. Re-install and reconnect and see if the problem is fixed, if not may be time for a new MAF.
