I just used Permatex "Super Weatherstrip Adhesive" I picked up from Pep Boys. The only problem is that the glue is yellow, and the bottom of the halo headlights where the weatherstrip attaches is clear, so you can see all the yellow glue through the inside of the headlight. So make sure you stick with a brand that offers either black or clear when you do it. Aside from the color, it seems to be holding quite well after a few weeks.

The last time I was in an auto parts store, they had a specific adhesive for weatherstripping. I'd probably just go with that or something along the lines of an emblem adhesive.

I would think a little silicon would work.
