Anyone working on rear CTS-V upgrade?

Anyone working on rear CTS-V upgrade? My front rotors are cracking. I really want to do the CTS-V upgrade but I think it looks stupid with just the fronts.
Does anyone know if the V will rub off the calipers? Maybe I can get away with powder coating the stockers in the rear silver.
I guess the spare tire won't fit either....
Please tell me someone is trying to get the rears to fit?

i'm with you on this one pal!
i have the 2010 SS camaro brembo's on backorder right now.
they're the same calipers as the caddy, they just say camaro on them. but i went front and rear, as soon as they get here i'm going to make brackets for atleast 3 cars around my area.

already got the rear CTS-v calipers and they won't work without MAJOR MAJOR modification, basically its not worth it. however, you might be able to get the rears from a new camaro, but again i have no idea. i just powdercoated my stock rears to match and got matching rear drilled rotors. it looks like i have a BBK on all 4 wheels!

Someone got a c6 rotor to fit and the e brake to work... maybe a new bracket needs to be made

Wilwood also makes a larger rear kit for f-bodies...it's advertised as 93-97 iirc, but the rear brake setup is the same for both lt and ls years. But you're probably going to want a brake proportioning valve installed if you change the rear brake setup

do a search here, people have bought sold them. The thing with Wilwood compared to other companies like StopTech, is Wilwood is much much cheaper. I can't remember pricing, but for what it was, it wasn't that expensive really. Just trying to give another alternative that is already out there to help save time and possibly $ to re-invent the wheel..

First question is why do you want to put a larger rear brake on a 4th gen? I still have no idea why people think they need bigger brakes back there. They're already too big for the car, so why go bigger?
Your cosmetic change only will most likely cause more problems then what it's worth. Go into a corner with too much rear brake, then get on them a bit too much....well I have fun in the grass, tree, or whatever is near by to slow you down.

which is why I mentioned a brake proportioning unit. But most people who want to change it i think do it for the looks..

And they may be doing it for looks, but looks and brakes should not be mixed. IMO.
