Default 2009 CTS-V rear???

Does anyone know how durable the new CTS-V rear end is? Can it handle hard qtr launches with and w/o slicks. Will it be ok with adding 30rwhp to the wheels from mods and launching w/slicks? The previous CTS' rear was as bad as a fourth gen F-bods. GM better not have made the same mistake.

IRS are known for being weak. Since when do you think GM cares about drag strip launches??

Damn, thought on a 60K car they might make it durable.

But IRS' are in Covettes and they are perfectly sturdy with this dte brace.

The new V rear is light years ahead of the 1st gens rear. People having been running bottom to mid 11's on the new rear with no issues.
