Wheel / Tire Help
I've been looking at the 17" X 9" version of the "Snowflake" wheel that came as part of the WS6 option package on 1977-1981 Trans Am models. These are made by Year One, but they are NOT the billet wheels. I don't have that kind of money.
The guy at Year one told me that the bolt pattern was the same as a 2001 Trans AM. Can you guys tell me if the 4-7/8" backspacing is enough? Will these fit a 2001 Trans Am?
I was thinking of going with 275/40-17 tires. Is there a better choice?
Finally, How do you think these will look on a black 2001 WS6 if I add a little gold trim to the car as well?
Thanks for the help.

does anybody have the pic of the black ws6 with those rims on it I saw it a while ago it was a black 98-02 ws6 with gold highlights? Loved the pic and was wondering if anybody had it just playing with the idea, he did a 78 color scheme on it
