Going to change my exhaust around and it will be shorter, how close to the exhaust outlet is it Ok to mount a WB o2 sensor and have it be accurate? On the dyno they just have it a few inches in the tip, but I need to know for sure so i can weld a bung in there. Will it be OK about 6-8" inside from the turndown?

If you're welding in a new bung anyway, why not put it just after the collector? More accurate reading there IMO.
