01 SOM with 33k miles. Finally an LS1.
Well everyone finally the time has come for me to upgrade my 1998 Pontiac firebird v6 with something a little more beastly.
I'm keeping my firebird for winter and dd. I love the car, its built to hammer corners with a 32 mm front and 27mm back sway bars, Hotchkis STB, stock suspension with 45 wall sumitomos... When I say hammer, I'm not lying. I mean every corner, sideways, everytime for 3 years and 44000 miles. I enjoy taking corners sideways and the 6 cylinder is cheaper to keep going then the LS1.
So I went and picked up another members car in Virginia. Mods came with the car and have 1800 miles on them. He dragged the car a few times and got a best of 12.01@112 with a 1.61 60ft. Mods in the sig.
As for me, I am no drag racing this car. Its going to be my summer street racing car. Reason why i want bigger sway bars and the STB. Also looking into LCAs and a Panhard bar.
