Default My Service advisor just called..

I put the Z in the shop for some small upgrades/Vibrations...

Heal Toe pedal
Solid mount PFadt engine mounts
6000K HID's

and some other crap

The main reason I put it in the shop is because of a horrible vibration that occurs after 70MPH, which gets more aggressive as you speed up.

I know its wheel speed related vs. Engine speed. Which is, I guess, better! Cheaper!

OF COURSE my tires are bald so the tech is blaming them. I understand I could have a flat spot but I know it's not the tires!

I say wheel bearing, only because I replaced the right one, already!

So it's the LEFT side...

I was going to go pick it up, since I don't have a case because of my bald tires...

My service guy just called and said that the Manager heard clicking from the left bearing. Which I have been hearing but I didn't assume the bearing would "click".

Have you guys heard of wheel bearings clicking? I know they HUMMMM...

So now they want to tear it apart...

Wheel bearings can click if they are totally dry....which I doubt.

Have you checked all the basic stuff on the suspension? For months I had a vibration on the freeway because the two bolts on the back upper passenger control arm had walked out a little

Yes, they can click. There are also joints back there in the axles. Check those, too. And hopefully your rear end is okay.

I just spoke with them, after tearing it down. NOTHING TO BE FOUND!

So the car is ready for my abuse! I've been told the change in transfer in energy with the solid mount engine mounts vs stock is noticeable.

They also told me the transfer in energy is affecting my interior. Aka, things are rattling and vibrating.

WE will see....

Anyone using the Elite heal toe pedal?

on my 06 I have pfadt motor and tranny mounts. stage 5 m6 tranny with 1000hp rated gforce 1-4 gears, stage 5 diff, and the twin tex. the tex is noisy but everything is really smooth.

maybe it is the wheels or tires.
