Default TH 400 mate to LQ4

I baught an LQ4 out of a 2002 Denali and am wanting to bolt up a TH400 tranny to it. All of the bolt holes line up accept the left upper hole in the tranny, there is no hole or threads in the block. Would anyone reccomend drilling and tapping a hole there for the tranny bolt? DO I need that bolt, can I run without that bolt ? I do not know what to do and I don't want to start drilling on the motor and run into problems and or run one bolt short on the tranny and run into problems down the road! Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can run without that bolt.

Run without it. I use 4 bolts in my TH350 with my LS1.
