Default do i need to retune my SD tuned car???

i got the car tuned in Speed Desnsity about a year in a half ago with no problems till recently...the car will start to choke or "hiccup" if im in a lower rpm higher gear than 1st and trying to accellerate? im not sure if its maybe the weather changing thats causeing this but at this time last year my car didnt give me any problems at all. not throwing any codes either... ive also just recently noticed if im getting on it hard it will back fire in between shifts? which isnt normal at all and has never done that till a day a go...

SD tunes are ok as long as your elevation doesn't change much and your runing in CL. if your always runing OL. might be time for a retune. try a small tune up with a compression check before changing the tune.

Is there anyway I can tell if I'm running in OL or CL? I'm pretty sure I was tuned in closed loop and I always let the car heat up before I drive it so dunno why I would be running in open loop especially when I'm at WOT? Wish I had the money to just go get a retune

so just unplug the two step and see if it still does it! mine did that same thing and i switched my two step coil pack plugs around and it quit but it should not have made a difference. also when i had bad plug wires it did the same thing .
