Its definitely not supposed to look like that. If you decide to up grade to an aftermarket bar we offer several different types. If your car is lowered you will need an adjustable bar. We also sell non adjustable bars as well. If you autocross or do alot of corner carving we have a rod/poly bar that would be the best choice for that type of driving. Our regular poly/poly bars are available in both adjustable and non adjustable versions and work very well for most other types of driving. Here is a link to our site and if you have any questions please give me a call.

That is if that was the body side mount side. If it was axle mount side then he ran over something. Either way, good catch.

LOL I am the second owner...

Sure does look like that, LOL. It is on the Driver's side, I wondered why that sucker did not want to come off. When I replaced the sail speakers I could see tell tale burns on the inside of fender. Some one had to straighten that fender but must have overlooked the PHB.

Thanks BMR, I upgraded to a rod end on-car adjustable piece. The company is a sponsor but I bought from a member. On the positive side my burnouts are very drama free and very controllable. So are the slides. Made a huge difference

I have a sneaking suspicion my panhard bar is effed as well. The rear end is side-stepped to the driver's side pretty badly, and I know the car has been hit. Been finding lingering clues the more time I spend under the car putting on parts.

Its been towed.

If you loop an axle strap around the axle, the buckles line up perfectly with the PHB.

When static, there is about 1/2" clearance. But while travelling and the suspensionis free to move, the buckle hits the PHB.
