Default Rear wheels?

What wheel backspace would I need for a 3rd gen 9" under my 98. Its supposed to b 1 1/2 narrower on each side.

Well if it is 15 inches shorter per side then you would want a 15x10 on a 6.0 back space. The best thing I can say to do is measure to be sure. Measure a stock 5th gen rear from flange to flange. then measure your rear from flange to flange. Divide the difference by 2 then subtact that from the normal 7.5" BS with a factory rear.

4th gens need 7.5 in bs for a 15x10 so then you would need 6in bs if you were using that rear.
