Default Chrome Rims

Do all chrome rims peel over time or just the cheap ones??? is there a way 2 prevent peeling or prevent it from happeneng 2 soon?? thanks for any advice

i think break dust, and dirt takes the toll on chrome......gotta keep them clean

polish them and then coat them with wax immediately before they ever hit the road.

Break dust, road salts and tars, acidic cleaners - they all will effect the chrome. You gotta keep the clean. A lot of OEM manufacturers are using Chrome Cladded wheels, which is chrome adhered to plastic which is then adhered to the wheel. It lasts much longer, but the appearance just isn't the same.
