Dual Stage Jetting Q's
Need some help/opinions for a possible new setup. I've got a single stage nozzle wet kit on the car right now. I've just acquired another set of solenoids, lines and nozzle. I'm spraying a 150 shot now, thinking of stepping to a 200 shot but traction is an issue right now with the 150....so I was wondering if you could set up the jetting for a 100 shot first stage (47/28) then subtract the jet sizes for the 200 shot from that (82/44 - 47/28 = 35/16) to put in the second nozzle. So if the second stage was only turned on after the first stage was activated would that be the right jetting for 100 shot, then (if needed ) the second stage could be activated and be equivalent to a 200 shot? Am I going about this wrong or would that work? Sounds right to me, but I don't know if I'm over looking something. Need some advice from somebody that knows what works. Thanks!!!!!

I am alittle confused by your post so let me say this.
There are two ways of runing the dual stage. Either bring in the first stage with the second stage to follow leaving both stages on or by shuting the first stage when the second stage comes on..
Either way you need to go by the manufacture suggested jetting for the nozzle you are using. That will be the starting point to start tuning.
If you plan to leave both stages on and want a total of 200 the first stage would be pilled for example 100 and the second pilled for 100.
If you plan to shut one stage off after bringing in the second you would pill the first stage for what ever you want and the second stage for the total off 200.
Either way you go go off factory suggested jetting for the nozzle you are using.

Basically I want to run 2 100 shots, turning on one stage and adding the second stage. So you are saying i need to jet both nozzles for 100 shot? No tricky stuff? So if I wanted to up the second stage to a 150 shot the jets would be 150 shot jetting, again, nothing tricky?

Just planning on the 200 shot. I was just using that for an example. I would like to go DP, but that costs some dollars and I would probably rather end up putting that into a stronger bottom end anyways, I hear that forged stuff is stronger!!! Thanks for the input though! I've seen some guys running a 250 shot, single nozzle, single stage for quite a while.......plug your ears though!!!! lol!!!
