Default Which Flywheel for LS7 clutch

So my buddy has a used (6,000 miles) LS7 clutch that i'm going to get, so which flywheel do I need? A GTO LS2 , Vette LS2 or aftermarket?

I used the LS7 flywheel. It's heavier, but I can't tell the difference. You can also use an aluminum flywheel. http://www.sdparts.com/catalog/lsgen...eelClutch.aspx

The LS2 flywheel is the one needed for the LS7 clutch, I think LS2/LS7 are the same part as far as flywheels go. Just make sure its not a LS1 flywheel.

You can use any of the LS2/LS3/LS7 parts with the LS7 flywheel. Just insure that the part you buy has a recessed flywheel which is required to work with your drop-plate OE LS7 parts. We offer an aluminum version of this flywheel which can be purchased under part number SC66A-2. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
