Default SPEC stage 4 pressure plate. Can it be resurfaced?

My 6 yr old SPEC Stage 4 finally gave up(wouldn't disengage after a pass at the local drag strip). I've got it all apart now and wondered;
  • Can I get the pressure plate resurfaced?
  • If I can get it resurfaced, can you just buy the SPEC stage 4 clutch disc?
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, i just replied to your PM. You can buy a disc separately, that isn't an issue, but I do not recommend that you resurface the plate. Not only does the plate have wear that results from normal use, cutting the plate would further affect the systems geometry and would lead to a clutch that has less life potential and a greater change for slippage and chatter. I will be happy to sell you a new kit. Just give me a call and we can proceed as needed. Thanks!
