If this is an LS1 f-body, yeah theres a good spot...right onto the F'in ECM on the passenger side under the hood lol.

I really think they put it there on purpose to get soaked, haha.

Also think about what is common to cy 2,4,6 and 8? I can only thing of one thing. That's the connector at the top center of the coil pack bracket that feeds all the coils on Bank 2.

Due to the water id think somethings getting wet but on the other hand the WOT fixes your problem id say the 02 sensor on that side.An 02 sensor does not read at WOT if it is bad,it will cause every cyl. on that side only to load up with gas.Do you think that its not firing or that maybe its loading up?I worked at a shop for a while and this is more common than you may think. Also check your wires going down the inner fender on the passenger side by the headers make sure that the insulation is not burnt and no naked wires.Moisture on an exposed wire going to the 02 this can also cause this problem.Hope this helps.

The 02s on the Bank 2 side are also common to cy 2,4,6 and 8, but at WOT(over 80% throttle opening) you go back to open loop so fuel control goes out the window. The 02s are a big part of fuel control when you're in closed loop, but at WOT they're not being monitored.
