Have any of you guys ever run a Garrett TA 45 or TA51? They are older journal bearing turbos from volvo/mercedes trucks. Parts are hard to find since they arent made anymore. In my searchings i have found them used a bit on rx7s and supras in aussie land. A bit laggy supposedly given their large frame, but capable of supporting ~1000bhp. The one i have has the 1.54 A/R turbing housing, but i am trying to locate a smaller 1.09a/r or .92 a/r housing. Any experiences?
