Nice Looking 2000 WS6. Whatta you think?
I'm not in the market for another car, but that never stops me from looking at whats out there to be had. That being said, I found this car on craigslist and it caught my eye.

As you can see, it has almost 85K and they're asking $10,988. I checked NADA.com and their price for Clean Retail (which is what I would label this car, without having seen it in person) is $11,200. Both of these numbers sound pretty high to me. For a car that's almost 10 years old as well as rapidly approaching 100k miles, can one really be expected to pay over $10K? I thought a more appropriate price would be $8900.
I would have to say this car has a wonderful color combo with the Dark Green Exterior matched with Ebony Interior. If I was looking, this car would be a perfect candidate.
Like I said, I'm not looking to buy this car. I'm just curious to have others opinions of it and other cars like it that are out there. So what do you guys think?

Holy options Batman! They are listing standard equipment as "options" which they are hoping will aid their sales pitch. It looks like it is in good shape but it is still a 9 year old car with 85,000 miles. I feel that price is high even for a stealership. Looks like an NBM car maybe, very hard to tell from the crappy pictures what color it is. They list it as blue-black metallic (wtf?). As a dealership they also figure the WS6 package is worth a bunch of money to the right person, as well as the aftermarket wheels. IMO - they are asking too much.

If it is a 2000 then someone took the EGR options off under the hood. It is NBM (5th picture door jam shows the color) and the interior looks to be in pretty good shape. I would think more around 9k would be closer to its worth but it is a dealership...gotta make money somehow

****! I hope I didn't post this thread in the wrong section. I'm wondering if I shouldn't have placed it here...
