Default When does clay go bad?

I have some Mother's clay that I bought around 6 months ago and I've used it maybe 2-3 times. I'm wondering how you guys determine whether clay is good enough to use or not. I see small particles in the clay. There are not many of them and they are hard to see unless you really examine it under light. Is this an indicator that I should throw it away? Will it be safe to use on my paint without scratching it? Thanks.

You should be fine, I have clay that I use more than that, you are going to have particles no matter what because those are the particles you car getting off of your clear.
