Exclamation Options. What to ask for during a rebuild??

Dropping my car off tonite for a 4l60e rebuild. I wont pretend like I have even the slighest clue what goes on inside this tranny.

I have heard you guys talk about 2/4 corvette servos, etc.

What should I tell these guys I want? What should I request? Mind you, this is a budget rebuild...around $700. Its all I can do right before the holidays and it simply needs to be done...now.

I appreciate your help!!

Vacuum Modulator (line pressure)

HD Sun shell, harden sprag... etc

A good shop will know what to do with it.

If nothing else get the "Beast" reaction shell (sunshell) and the TransGo "correction kit". Also upgrade the 3/4 clutches and band to Raybestos or similar. Billet intermediate servo can be done later with the trans in the car if you're really on a tight budget. I'd recomend that over the Corvette servo, it's only a few $$$ more but has even greater holding power and faster apply/release.

Those few internals, WHEN PROPERLY SET UP, can handle a butt load of power.
