Normal catch can fluid?

Normal catch can fluid? Just emptied my catch can for the first time today, have driven the car 500-600 miles since i installed it. This is the color of the fluid that came out (the black fleck is not from the catch can):
Was a decent amount of fluid, enough to wet a piece of paper towel. Smelled faintly of oil and gas. Just wondering if this is typical. At any rate, very glad this junk was not able to make its way into the intake manifold.
