Default Black Brake Calipers

Does anybody have a picture of a F-Body with a big brake upgrade, that has black calipers?

All I see is read calipers, and would like to see what black calipers look like on our cars.

I was thinking of keeping the already black calipers on my big brake upgrade black, or powder coating them the color of my car.

Not sure.

i considered black, and then changed my mind pretty quick. i figure if i'm gonna take the time to paint them i might as well do something that will actually stand out. if your gonna do black you might as well leave them stock. either way, it wont get noticed...just blend with the background

Well I'm getting the C5 big brake upgrade. The calipers are larger and come already painted red or black. (I am not getting red for my car, for obvious reasons.)

So they will be painted black already so it's not like I will have to do the work.

oh okay, i see. well since your getting them black anyways, just check and see how you like them once you get them. and then maybe photoshop some pics of them painted to match the car, so you can see how it will look. really, i dont think you can go wrong with anything you choose. whether it be black (nice clean, subtle look), the color of your car (may be a bit much), or even red (it would compliment the red lights and Z28 emblems- and really, i dont think i've seen a car that didn't look good with red calipers...maybe a few)

i swear i can't stop looking at your sig. i love the color of your car.

Just did Black C6 calipers on a C6 and it is a little subtle, however the abutment brackets and the raised CORVETTE lettering were done in Silver and they catch your eye and get your calipers noticed. I would recommend you consider the same.

I had my stock calipers black with Chrome firebird decals clear coated on.
From a distance couldn't see the caliper but the letters really stood out.
I'll have to dig through some SD cards but I'll try and post a pic

Mine are painted black with chrome CAMARO lettering. It is subtle, but noticeable close up.

If you could post a picture, that would be great!

I know it may sound stupid, but I don't necessarily want it to look so subtle that it's almost invisible until you walk up close to it.

Painting/powder coating them the color of my car may make them stand out.

I'm just not sure.

I painted my calipers black recently. The previous owner had painted them red, but I thought the red didn't go with my black/flat black theme at all.
