performance chip, Drag radials w/o subframe connectors ? so my buddy has a performance chip made for my car that plugs in and downloads onto the computer (you can also put it back to stock if u want) , i have no idea what it does but is it unsafe ? will i have gains ?...Also my friend with a trans am has some big 315 drag radials on it and i was going to bolt his wheels and tires on my car just for a couple races, will it tweak anything or hurt anything withought SFCs ? one more thing would a ported mass air meter do anything for me or would it be dangerous ??? Just a couple quick questions ! thanks...

Not really drag racing.... but here is some info.
Post this in the External Engine Section for GEN III.
Also.... do not let anyone touch your computer unless they are a professional. You can **** up stuff very easily if someone has no knowledge of LSX stuff or if their expertiese falls in with a different type of car.
** There are no "Chips" when it comes to cars from 94+, All of them are a flashable PCM done via a laptop and cable.
Next, Test fit those tire, make sure they actually fit and not rub/grind
You won't catch real traction anyways, as for the subframe, the SFC's should be on there already. It is when you put a real tire on the car or your hitting it hard off the line, a street launch most times will not be powerful enough to do damage. Just day to day driving would put stress on the car.
Lastly, LEAVE THE MAF ALONE.
