Default Engine re-build help

Any suggestions on re-build for an LS1. I have done everything to the current engine...bolt-ons, cam, heads...etc. Would want to put everything back on to keep the cost manageable.

without opening up the bore of your heads, you are limited to between the range of 347 to 383 ci. You can get the bore enlarged to 4.00 on your heads and have a LS3 stroker built (my personal opinion).

Thanks. Can I go to an LQ iron block? What other changes would I require?

The LQ iron block route will be your cheapest, but it will also add weight to your front end. If this doesn't bother you, then I would go that route. Otherwise, choose an LS3.

You can purchase a drop-in replacement LQ-series motor from a sponsor like LME or HKE.
