Default Few questions...

First off, I'm building a 383 for my 2003 S10 Blazer. I'm gonna be running a 10.7:1 CR, Edelbrock E-Tec 200 heads, Holley Stealth Ram Intake, etc...

One question is on the cam. I have listed the specs on the cam below.

All specs are @.050"-lift
-.594/.594 lift
-112 LSA
-242/240 int/exh duration
-17* valve overlap

I'm just wondering if it would be too big to run on the street. I'm gonna be running a 2800 stall and 3.73 gears with a built 4L60E.

The other thing is on my EFI setup. I'm gonna be modifying the stock harness and getting my ECM reflashed to work with a Vortec 5.7 tune. Instead of using the stock Vortec intake, I'm gonna wire it up using individual injectors and the Stealth Ram intake. Does anyone foresee any problems with this? I'm hoping to be by summertime...

Man, i have run way bigger than that on the street. It will be fine, BUT that stall is not big enough. It will work, but you will want a 3500 for that cam.

I agree 3000+ stall and you will have tons of fun on the street.
