Anyone running magnaflows...???
Does anyone run a pair of Magnaflows and not have the "rasp" that I have heard about???
Does anyone know the cause of it (rasp) or how to avoid it when I have my exhaust installed???
Does a "H" pipe help???

Cats or no Cats
Stock exhaust - catted or not
Stock manifolds or LTs
Mfg Y-pipe merge design
Catback mfg
Catback muffler(s)
Once you get the above narrowed down - then how much rwhp do you loose with the system you choose ?
My system - no rasp:
ARH 1 7/8 LT's
ARH catted y-pipe
Magnaflow catback
Two Magnaflow 12 inch mufflers aft of the catback muffler.

The two Magnaflow 12 inch mufflers eliminated rasp.
Sorry - no video for sound.

I guess I should clarify what my system will be...so maybe that will help.
My intentions are to have '02 Z06 manifolds, no cats, 2 1/4" mandrel true duals to an H-pipe and mufflers (12646 magnaflows? ...6x18 case), then 2 1/2" tail pipes.
It should make in the low 400s for HP & Trq.
Would this combo have the "rasp"...or does anyone know the cause??
